Job Description:

Job Summary

The Cement Coordinator oversees the successful loading of all cement jobs, determines the movement of cement equipment used in a job, coordinates with cement engineers or lab personnel to identify customer blends, and ensures that all necessary maintenance is performed on vehicles or equipment used in cement operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the loading of all cement jobs
  • Reference Cement Lab reports to coordinate the timing and loading of cement into associated equipment
  • Determine the movement of cement equipment used in a job (i.e., field storage, air trailers, foam job trailers, etc.)
  • Coordinate with cement engineers and lab personnel to identify customer blends to be loaded or samples to be tested
  • Collaborate with supervisors and Cement Dispatchers to assist with the movement of personnel or equipment
  • Communicate with job location supervisors to determine job design (i.e., job start date, schedule, volume, hole depth, pipe size, etc.)
  • Ensure that all necessary maintenance, preventative maintenance, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated upkeep is performed on vehicles or equipment used in cement operations
  • Construct packets containing all job specifications for relevant supervisors and crew on location
  • Read through well programs and verify cementing job design
  • Ensure paperwork is complete and available
  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with customer, consultants, and company men
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in cement operations preferred
  • Knowledge of all equipment used in cement operations required
  • Excellent client relations and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively interact with clients and personnel at all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Personable, team player, able to collaborate effectively with personnel across the organization
  • Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and able to quickly learn other work-related software
