Location: Quincy, IL/ St. Louis, MO

Department: Aviation

Reports To: Chief Pilot

Salary Grade: $150,000 - $185,000 annually, plus bonus opportunity

As a Corporate Pilot, you will perform duties required to act as pilot in command (Captain) on company aircraft, as scheduled.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Responsible for the safe conduct of flights and has the final authority in the operation of the flight he/she is assigned.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and foreign regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Prepares for each flight by analysis of all available information concerning the flight including preflight planning, documentation, airworthiness, and satisfactory personal health and well-being.
  • Makes decisions to start, delay, or cancel a flight or deviate a flight from planned route when operating conditions dictate.
  • Applies critical thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
  • Occasionally perform and assist with aircraft servicing.
  • Assist Captain in performance of all duties if flying as second in command (copilot).


YOU MUST HAVE



  • FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
  • FAA First Class airman's medical certificate.
  • Minimum flight experience of 3000 hours total time, 1,000 hours multi-engine time, 500 hours turbojet time.
  • Effective communication, professional appearance, strong customer service skills
  • Strong initiative and willingness to complete all required flight and administrative tasks promptly and with minimal supervision.
  • US Passport


YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • Airline Transport Pilot certificate
  • Experience in corporate aviation or military equivalent
  • Citation CJ3+, CJ4, and/or Phenom 300 type rating and single pilot jet experience
  • Garmin 3000 and/or Collins Proline 21 experience
  • Proficiency with ForeFlight, APG, CESNAV, and FlightPlan.com software


ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Will fly a monthly average of 8-10 days, with 5-7 overnights, and 2-3 weekend days.
  • Must have ability to travel independently as needed and without restriction by all modes of transportation.
  • Will maintain qualification in and operate 2-3 different aircraft types on a regular basis.
  • Must live within 3 driving hours of the St. Louis, MO or Quincy, IL area.
