Yoh is hiring a Research Scientist, DMPK
for our South San Francisco, CA client. We are seeking is a highly motivated and experienced analytical/bioanalytical chemist in support of in vitro and in vivo studies addressing ADME issues. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in cellular incubation, biologic sample extraction, and analytical techniques. This role requires hands-on Lab experience.

Job Functions:
- Perform sample incubation for cellular uptake and metabolite profiling assay.
- Conduct biological sample preparation and LC-MS analysis.
- Process the raw data, write study reports, and maintain ELN records.
- Contribute to bioanalytical method development and drug metabolite identification.
- Identify and resolve technical problems and drive continuous improvement of procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and standard operation procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of samples, reagents, and experimental procedures, and other documentations related to departmental operation.
- Excellent organization skill, foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical Science or a closely related scientific discipline with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in either industry or academic laboratory.
- Knowledge of drug metabolism or ADME.
- Experience with cell incubation.
- Experience with LC-MS, LC-UV quantification of drugs, metabolites or xenobiotics.
- Excellent record-keeping, communication skills, and maintaining ELN records.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and GraphPad.
- Previous experience with Sciex and Thermo mass spectrometers and associated software like Analyst and Xcalibur is highly desired.
