We are seeking a Senior Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Project Manager who will lead a large, in-flight corporate program already leveraging the SAFe methodology. This individual would be working under the corporate Project Management Office on projects and programs that span multiple groups and business units. This RTE and Project Manager will need to possess the ability to interact with corporate executives, manage multiple agile teams to achieve their goals (within the SAFe infrastructure) and maintain corporate project management standards.

This position may be worked remotely within the US. However, you may be requested to come onsite to one of our office locations for a final interview or onboarding.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Manages the development and implementation of new or upgraded products and/or manages the creation and implementation of corporate processes.
  • Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded products or corporate processes.
  • Manage ad-hoc compliance and risk management projects related to assigned projects, programs and agile release trains (ARTs).
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
  • Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project is on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Provides mentoring and support to other project managers in dealing with project management issues for their assigned projects.
  • Demonstrates excellent project management skills.
  • Assists less experienced peers.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 6 years of program or project management of software development projects.
  • Experience as a SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE).
  • Ability to travel up to 15% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
  • Strong communication skills.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related software development field.
  • PMI certifications such as:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
    • Program Management Professional (PgMP)
    • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
    • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)
  • Other SAFe certifications such as:
    • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
    • SAFe Agilist Certification
    • SAFe Practitioner Certification (SPC)
    • SAFe Scrum Master Certification.
  • Has a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues. Works on complex and diverse projects. Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercises good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
  • General knowledge of financial industry and or JHA product(s) supported and basic knowledge of other JHA products.
  • Able to complete successful product design and implementation projects that are on schedule, within budget and receive high customer satisfaction results.
  • Able to interact with senior internal and external personnel.
