National Grid is hiring a Principal Transmission Line Engineer - Successful candidate can be located in either our Waltham, MA, Boston, MA, or our Brooklyn, NY office. Job Purpose
National Grid Ventures (NGV) is looking for a knowledgeable, curious, and driven Principal Transmission Line Engineer to join our Transmission Development and Asset Development Team. This individual will support all elements of overhead transmission lines. This includes high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and high-voltage alternating current (HVAC) projects. The candidate will interface with cable suppliers, engineering, and permitting consultants, key project stakeholders to lead development and design. They will provide guidance, expertise, and decision-making capabilities to management. This role will provide support to key initiatives driving NGV's growth and partnerships throughout the US.
