Job Description

As a Technical Product or Project Analyst you will implement the strategy, design, and configuration of new products and projects at Visa. From internal configuration management databases, to logging and monitoring tools, we build products that help the operability and reliability of Visa's core applications, delivering best in class service to our clients globally. The position may also work onreporting, including various management reports/dashboards with standard cadence and all required data analysis. This position interacts with many cross-functional stakeholders, including various Technology teams, Finance, and many business function leads.

Specific assignments will depend on upon your skills sets, interest, location, and team needs.

Some job duties and projects could include:

  • Facilitate and support cross-functional programs by collaborating with PMO Leads and Coordinators to ensure timely completion of action items.
  • Develop and present high-level status reports to senior leadership, showcasing program progress and milestones.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks or issues to senior management, along with proposed remediation plans for programs or projects.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for program improvement, such as addressing data hygiene issues or process gaps that affect key metrics like Accessibility numbers.
  • Utilize diverse data sources to create a comprehensive overview of program or project progress.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings to keep stakeholders engaged, informed, and aligned with program objectives.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Less than 2 years relevant work experience with either Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business or a related field, graduating January 2024 - August 2025.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Basic Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, Basic Data Analysis)
  • Data cleansing, prep, and reporting
  • Ability to performdata analysis using Excel, Python, or SQL
  • Experience/coursework with PowerBI, Tableau, or Power Automate
  • Communicate status frequently to project stakeholders
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
  • The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on
  • Strong ability to collaborate
  • Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented
  • Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity
Additional Information

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:The estimated salary for a new hire into this position is $100,000 USD which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Work Hours:Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements:This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
