Description
SUMMARY
The Total Rewards Manager's primary responsibility will be to oversee benefits administration, compliance management, cost containment, and the Shared Service function. This role will work closely with HR Senior Management supporting Total Rewards for a complex and large-scale privately held portfolio of businesses.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and administer the organization's benefit programs. This includes but is not limited to eligibility analysis, cost forecasting, budgeting, oversight for proper financial reconciliation, reporting, communication, and all related compliance oversight.
- Manage the administration of a self-funded health plan with PBM carve-out and a Captive providing stop loss coverage, partnership with TPA and advisors. This will include reviewing claims files for location and trend analysis in conjunction with external resources, monitor performance for cost inconsistencies requiring review and identification of opportunities to advance value-based changes. Assist Kraft Group Finance with appropriate recordkeeping and accounting of funding, fee charges, credits and other financial considerations related to all benefit plans.
- Responsible for third-party vendor management to maximize benefit offerings, focusing on cost containment and value-based outcomes. Ensure optimum performance from all external resources within the full benefit program. This includes the oversight of the Annual Retirement and H&W Audits.
- Forecast, report, and monitor annual, quarterly, and monthly benefit cost and trends for benefit program company wide. Work collaboratively with the Sr. Director and impacted Finance Groups on anticipated cost, unusual cost projections, and GL maintenance for benefit related reporting.
- Responsible for communicating benefit offerings, policies, and entitlements including orientation, manager workshops, training of the HRIS platform, and email/print communication campaigns. Manage and schedule all employee engagement initiatives and events including survey deployment and analysis. Oversee benefits enrollment and eligibility including but not limited to communicating entitlements, auditing enrollments, and setting up the HRIS system to manage on-going enrollment administration.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory needs including but not limited to: Company Policy, ERISA, COBRA, Workers' Compensation, ACA, FMLA, and ADA, by staying up to date on regulatory changes to ensure proper administration and documentation. Collaborate with human resource managers and third-party administrators to determine that all benefit processes are legally compliant adhering to all state and federal laws including ADA accommodations when applicable. Ensure compliance with eligibility determination, tracking, documentation, and issuing notifications in a timely manner. Provide HR team with reporting and trends to minimize risk and cost.
- Support Compensation and Total Rewards planning including pay transparency, pay equity and incentive structures that align with Company Policy. Evaluate outliers and determine recommendations for corrective action as needed.
- Manage the Shared Service function to provide exemplary employee satisfaction focusing on timely and accurate responses, proper escalation, and analysis of trends to develop corrective strategies. Collaborate with Human Resource functional teams and business unit stakeholders to raise awareness of improved employee experience.
- Oversee in partnership with various business unit's employee engagement to include Service Recognition, Employee Engagement Events and various surveys results for action, as needed.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of related finance or benefits/human resource experience preferred.
- Master's degree in HR, healthcare analytics, public health, finance/accounting, or data analytics preferred.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills.
- Computer and Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
- Strong critical thinking skills, collaborative, and action oriented.
- Must pay attention to detail and focused concentration.
- Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently.
- Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow.
- Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness.
