Job DescriptionTeam Summary The Card Product group manages the deployment and optimization of Visa's core consumer products base consisting of Credit, Debit and Prepaid payments solutions globally. The team is also responsible for the development and deployment of innovation across this product suite. To do this, we work in close partnership with Visa clients and key internal and external stakeholders across the globe. We are also the team responsible for leading the transition of conventional card-based solutions onto digital form factors, ensuring Visa payments solutions remain the market-leading way for consumers to spend their money and manage their payments across Visa's global regions. What the Senior Director, Debit & Prepaid Card Product Management (Global) does at Visa: Reporting to the Global Head of Card Products, the SD, Debit & Prepaid will be responsible for initiatives across four broad areas of responsibility: Operational Efficiency: Overseeing the definition, modernization and administration of product rules, and Visa's credit product technology framework. Product Rules and the technology / processing framework are core to delivery of Visa credit products across our markets Best Practices Development: Leading the identification, development, and dissemination of best practices for debit and prepaid products to drive PV growth and consumer preference for Visa Drive Innovation: Leading initiatives as part of the Visa 2030 strategy to expand the debit and prepaid business, and expediting the integration of Visa Debit functionality with the Visa Flex Credential capability Thought Leadership: Working closely with regional and in-market teams to develop a clear point of view on the direction and future of debit and prepaid solutions, supporting regional / in-market-developed credit initiatives which may scale globally. The role-holder will lead a team of direct reports and will work closely with Core Product teams across each of Visa's global regions to evolve and build end-to-end consumer experiences that drive client preference for Visa as a strategic partner and make us an enabler of superior value propositions for digitally enabled consumers. The SD, Global Debit & Prepaid Product Management will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and innovation of Visa's global debit and prepaid product portfolios. This role requires a leader with deep expertise in the payments industry, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative and competitive product solutions. The individual will ensure the products meet market demands, regulatory requirements, and the company's growth objectives. You will need to be highly collaborative and will be the key interface between the market teams and Visa's global team to ensure our platforms drive product differentiation, consumer activation and engagement You'll be responsible for managing the administration of waivers to Visa's Product Rules and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Be a key leader in identifying and driving improvements in product usage, activation, and consumer preference for Visa products, collaborating with regional and in-market teams to implement best practices and ensure consistency in product delivery and a key stakeholder in the company-wide drive to strengthen Visa's debit franchise globally by exploring new opportunities and innovations in the traditional card issuance business. In addition, ensuring that Visa's network technology and processing stack (VisaNet) supports product Rules and Standards, including new global or regional / in-market products, as needed. A core area of delivery for the role-holder will be to ensure Visa Debit functionality is closely linked with the ability to choose a range of different funding sources and that debit is a fundamental part of the Visa Flexible Credential chassis. As well as working with in-market, client-facing teams, your team will work closely with the Regional counterparts, Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Client Services, Finance, Pricing, Legal and Compliance. Why this is important to Visa Consumer Debit and Prepaid Products are key bases for Visa's business globally as these solutions span all consumer life-stages and income segments in all Visa's markets and as such are a key platform for revenue generation and consumer engagement for Visa and our clients. As the largest of Visa's solutions sets, Core Products offer Visa the most visible and impactful opportunity to drive digital payments enablement and thus is a key part of our digital migration strategy. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 213,000.00 to 332,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
