Position: Team Lead 1
Payrate: $27.54 + .75 Shift Diff
Location: Hartselle, AL
Shift: 2nd

Job Summary:
The Team Leader will be responsible for supervising all production operations in assigned areas of responsibility to ensure maximum productivity and quality standards are met on a daily basis. The Team Leader will also assist the Plant Manager and Operations Management team members as needed.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain a safe work environment by promoting safety awareness among employees and complying with established safety procedures.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as waste, downtime, and labor productivity to identify areas for improvement.
* Supervise up to 60 hourly employees and provide guidance, training, and feedback to help them improve their skills and perform at high levels.
* Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Control and Maintenance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and products to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Work closely with the Plant Manager and Operations Management team members to develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
* Coordinate with maintenance staff to schedule and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.
* Assist in the training and development of hourly employees, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their skills and advance in their careers.
* Fill in for absent or unavailable management personnel as needed.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
* Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing or operations management.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move around the plant frequently.
* Flexibility to work any shift.
* Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
