Quality Manager - Build, Optimize, and Lead Excellence Join MSHS Pacific Power Group as our next Quality Manager and lead the charge in building a new Quality Management System. Position Overview Job Title: Quality Manager Reports To: Leader, Engineering & Business Process Improvement Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Annual Compensation: $115K - $140K (based on experience) Additional Compensation: Eligible for annual short-term incentive (STI) FLSA Status: Exempt What You'll Own:
- Architect & Oversee a Best-in-Class QMS: Develop and implement a Quality Management System that ensures compliance with ISO, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Lead & Elevate a High-Performance Team: Build a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within the quality team.
- Drive Process & Operational Excellence: Use Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, and Kaizen methodologies to reduce defects, enhance first-pass yield, and minimize rework and warranty claims.
- Master Audit & Compliance Programs: Own internal and external audits, supplier quality management, and regulatory adherence.
- Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain to align quality objectives with business and customer expectations.
- Supplier Quality Optimization: Working with the supply chain leader, audit vendors, and implement corrective actions.

What You Bring to the Table:
- 10+ years of experience in quality management, quality assurance (QA), or quality control (QC), with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Quality Management (advanced degree preferred).
- Deep expertise in QMS frameworks, ISO compliance, and regulatory standards in industries like marine and power generation, aerospace, or automotive.
- Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, TQM, RCA, FMEA, and SPC methodologies.
- Proven track record in reducing defect rates, driving supplier quality improvements, and leading successful audits.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and hands-on approach to quality enhancement.
- Proficiency in quality management software, statistical analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Certifications:
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) (ASQ)
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
