Project Manager - Disability

This position supports Broadspire for Disability and Leave Operational Excellence journey by guiding the organization and completion of critical projects as identified by the Senior Management Team. This individual will have responsibility for oversight of the management, execution, and delivery of Operational Excellence initiatives and business projects including coordination of business resources, staff, vendors, clients, and outside consulting services, as directed by the Senior Management Team.



  • Apply effective project management practices while leading and managing complex global transformation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organization objectives and strategies.
  • Establishes appropriate internal and external relationships in order to ensure forward progress of Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Organizes and provides ongoing reports on status and completion of projects and initiatives as identified by the Senior Management Team.
  • Participate in definition, design, testing, training, implementation, and support of workflow requirements.
  • Works closely with Operational Excellence Team and business staff to understand and document current and proposed business process and business objectives.
  • Assist in the identification and tracking of risks and issues.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of process and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to design, develop, or modify business processes.
  • May build or assist in building and maintaining detailed project plans to include resource, schedule, dependencies, and cost components. Monitor compliance with project task assignments, milestones and cost/benefit targets.
  • Continuously evaluate industry best practices and emerging methodologies and technologies to inform project management strategies.
  • May provide leadership to the project team and create an environment where team members are motivated to perform
  • Analyzes and measures result of projects, initiatives, process strategies and implementation to identify effectiveness.
  • Be an advocate when it comes to how we work and be able to communicate it clearly across all disciplines.
  • Adapt to and apply different delivery methodologies including Lean Six Sigma, Agile and Waterfall.
  • May assist with discovery and business requirements.
  • Upholds The Crawford Code of Business Conduct At All Times.
  • Performs Other Duties As Requested.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or transferable experience.
  • Preferred experience in process transformation or project management experience, including application development projects.
  • Exceptional understanding of general project procedures and processes within disability and leave management.
  • Proven facilitation skills and experience in building strong relationships.
  • Demonstrates effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and convey complex information clearly and persuasively (including formal presentations) and to respond to questions from all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work well independently.
  • Strong commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint); familiarity with project software such as Microsoft Project or Visio is an asset.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Exhibited experience in project management to include significant exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile and Waterfall.
  • Ability to learn/understand business processes and recognize issues relating to ongoing projects including the ability to problem solve
  • Proven history of execution.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Must be able to travel as required. Travel is variable in both frequency and duration.
  • Some level of formal project management training is desirable.
