As a Field Service Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination of tooling for the Mobile Service Team (MST) to include calibration, shipment, repair, inspection, purchase, maintenance, and records. Maintains positive customer relations by providing support related to the tooling support of the business product lines. Responds to inquiries, problems or complaints that may arise.

What you'll do:



  • Receives and verifies tooling returns using company systems. Completes an incoming inspection on every tool that is being returned to verify that it is in good working condition and damage free.
  • Receives and verifies tooling shipments using company systems. Completes an outgoing inspection on every tool that is being shipped to verify that it is in good working condition and damage free before being sent to the job site.
  • Ensures tooling shipment requirements and expectations are confirmed, documented, and communicated to the appropriate team members before tooling shipment.
  • Ship MST tooling worldwide in support of MST events.
  • Prepares, generates, and distributes reports on tooling metrics as required. Compare shipping options and cost, identifying potential cost overruns as they occur.
  • Provides MST product teams with pricing, scheduling, tracking and delivery information with tooling shipments. Initiates the required action for response to MST product team members/customers for tooling shipment changes or delays.
  • Coordinate all calibrated MST tooling. Contact individuals to get calibrated tooling sent in for calibration Send MST tooling to external vendors for calibration. Maintain calibration records of all MST tooling within the Salesforce.com system
  • Coordinate damaged tooling notifications to include repairing of tooling when returned or sending out to third party vendor for repair. Coordinate repair quotes and vendors to maintain a ready state of tooling.
  • Procure MST tooling as required including getting quotes from vendors and working with business unit/vendor for tooling purchase.
  • Maintains all MST tooling data in the SalesForce.com (SFDC) database.
  • Coordinates documents as per company, customer, and regulatory standards and process. Assures required information is entered into the appropriate computer system (internal and external). Performs assigned system maintenance to various electronic files.
  • Supports preparation of proposals, quotes and presentations.
  • Manages personal workload and time, adapting to change and adjusting to changing demands of the workplace.
  • Receives, evaluates and answers customer, internal organization or sales force inquiries regarding a variety of order-related or service issues. Assists with the settlement of customer complaints.
  • Responsible for observing and reporting any issues or concerns in support of the company-wide quality, environmental and Safety Management System [SMS] policies.
  • Carries out additional projects as assigned.


Position Requirements:



  • The typical minimum level of education to perform this job competently is equivalent to high school completion or equivalent to high school completion with specialized training.
  • Communicates effectively with customers (both internal and external), demonstrating effective use of written, verbal, non-verbal, and active listening skills, employing relevant knowledge, skills, and judgment to achieve organizational goals.
  • A commitment to professional practice and continuous professional improvement.
  • Thorough knowledge of production management, inventory purchasing and sales/marketing computer information systems.
  • Working knowledge of PC's including the use of Microsoft Office productivity software with the ability to adapt to changes in technology (both hardware and software).
  • Knowledge of products/engines/propellers/accessories in respective business unit/site and technical skills appropriate to role.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted and up to 75 lbs. assisted.
  • Ability to get along with co-workers and peers.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
  • Must be available to be on call evenings, weekends and weekends.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and get certification.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised for a period of time.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to outside weather conditions.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license.
  • Must be able to travel when required for tooling inventory and audits.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
