THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Celebration Sales Manager to deliver unique, memorable, and world class entertainment experiences to our guests, employees, and partners, while delivering consistent, innovative, and efficient operations. The Celebration Sales Manager will engage new guests by piquing curiosity and opening the door for surprise and excitement. This position will be responsible for booking small room blocks and premium suites that will complement the hotel's optimal room mix determined by the property team to maximize profits and drive occupancies during all periods.

You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Partner with cross property departments to plan, manage and coordinate guest special events and celebrations such as birthdays, reunions, bachelor/bachelorette parties, proposals, anniversaries, etc.
  • Contract, organize and facilitate the guest/group's entire hotel experience
  • Conduct regular customer site tours
  • Execute group billing, such as: sending invoices, posting charges, collecting deposits and final payments
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings to help guide overall property strategies and tactics as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain effective and respectful relationships with coworkers

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • One (1) year of experience in Sales, Marketing, Events, Advertising, Media or similar field
  • Skilled in developing, leading and maintaining guest relations
  • Ability to customize experience through suggestive selling techniques
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, which include being able to comfortably sell new ideas and strategies at all levels of the organization
