Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. Our staff consists of locals, transplants, seasonal workers from all 50 states and international students from around the globe. PURPOSE OF POSITION: Deer Valley is setting a new standard in luxury mountain experiences as we embark on the most ambitious expansion in North American ski history. Our commitment to excellence, unparalleled service, and world-class amenities continues to shape the future of mountain living. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a dynamic Membership Development Executive to lead and enhance our private membership experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Membership Experience Development and Product Development
  • Collaborate with the President of Deer Valley, the Deer Valley Senior Leadership team, and Alterra shared services to shape the vision for membership experience, membership amenities, membership programs, community building, product development, physical assets and facilities, partnership initiation fees, and dues.
  • Contribute to the design of a premier, world-class membership offering that aligns with Deer Valley's reputation for excellence.
  • Integrate with market research to refine the membership experience, product, financials.


Membership Sales & Growth
  • Lead the membership sales process, managing inquiries, tours, applications, and onboarding with a high-touch, concierge-level approach.
  • Partner with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns that showcase the distinct offerings and lifestyle of Deer Valley's private membership.
  • Develop and implement experiences and forums to attract new members, ensuring alignment with the club community's values and vision.
  • Manage and refine the membership application and approval process, ensuring an exclusive yet welcoming membership community.
  • Build and nurture meaningful relationships with prospective and existing members through personalized outreach.


Member Communications & Engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries, ensuring a high standard of responsiveness and service.
  • Develop and execute effective communication strategies to keep members informed about exclusive events, updates, and resort offerings.
  • Foster an exceptional member experience including curated events, and tailored services that deepen engagement and retention.
  • Potential future opportunity to guide and scale this function to other mountain resorts


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven success in membership development, luxury sales, or private club management within high-end hospitality or residential communities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and nurture strong relationships.
  • Strong understanding of membership pricing models, financial forecasting, and CRM systems.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding membership and engagement targets.
  • Knowledge of luxury market trends, with experience in golf, ski, or leisure industries being a plus.
