Summary:

The Director of Omnichannel Content Strategy will lead the charge in defining and executing our content strategy across all channels, ensuring cohesive, engaging, and personalized content experiences at scale. You will oversee the technical infrastructure required for modular content creation, AI-driven personalization, and ensure seamless integration across all platforms. A critical part of the role will be to work closely with agencies of record across all brands, managing content development and delivery while ensuring content taxonomy and tagging frameworks are robust and effective for maximum discoverability, relevance, and performance.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

* Content Strategy & Leadership:
o Lead the development and execution of an omnichannel content strategy that aligns with business goals and drives customer engagement across all touchpoints, including digital, social, mobile, email, and offline channels.
o Work with brand leadership and agencies of record to ensure all content efforts align with the broader marketing objectives and brand standards.

* Agency Collaboration & Brand Alignment:
o Partner with agencies of record (AORs) across multiple brands to ensure consistent brand voice, high-quality content production, and adherence to content strategies.
o Lead the communication and coordination efforts between internal teams and AORs, ensuring that content is delivered on time, within budget, and meets strategic objectives.
o Review and approve agency-developed content, ensuring alignment with overall brand guidelines and messaging.

* Technical Infrastructure & Integration:
o Oversee the technical infrastructure that supports omnichannel content delivery, ensuring seamless integration of content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM) platforms, and content distribution tools.
o Partner with IT and data teams to ensure the implementation of a scalable content architecture capable of supporting high-volume, high-quality content delivery across all platforms.
o Manage the technical setup for AI-driven content personalization, including tagging and taxonomy systems, ensuring content is automatically categorized, organized, and accessible for personalized experiences.

* Modular Content & AI-Driven Personalization:
o Drive the development of modular content frameworks, ensuring content is easily adaptable and scalable across channels, regions, and audiences.
o Lead the use of AI and machine learning technologies to personalize content based on user behavior, preferences, and demographic data.
o Oversee the tagging and taxonomy structure for content, ensuring consistency and accuracy in metadata to optimize discoverability and content recommendation systems.

* Content Governance & Quality Control:
o Develop and enforce a content governance framework to ensure all content is of the highest quality, compliant with brand guidelines, and meets technical standards for SEO, accessibility, and security.
o Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for content success across all platforms, using data-driven insights to adjust strategies and optimize results.
o Ensure that content is optimized for SEO and designed to maximize engagement and conversions across all channels.

* Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Lead and mentor a team of content strategists, managers, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
o Work closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, IT, and data analytics, to ensure content strategies align with business needs and customer expectations.
o Establish best practices for content creation, distribution, and optimization, ensuring efficient workflows and the effective use of tools and platforms.


Qualifications

Experience:
o 10+ years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, and omnichannel campaigns, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
o Proven experience working with agencies of record across multiple brands and managing large-scale content projects.
o Extensive experience with content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM), and content distribution platforms.
o Strong background in AI-driven personalization, including recommendation engines and predictive analytics.

Technical Skills:
o Expertise in content management, tagging, taxonomy, and metadata frameworks.
o Experience with AI-driven content platforms and tools for personalization (e.g., Adobe Sensei, Dynamic Yield, etc.).
o Solid understanding of SEO, analytics, and performance optimization strategies.
o Familiarity with content integration and API-based workflows for omnichannel marketing.

Leadership & Communication:
o Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead cross-functional teams and manage external agency relationships.
o Strong communication skills, able to present complex technical strategies to senior leadership and collaborate effectively with creative, technical, and business teams.
o Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Additional Skills:
* Experience with tagging and taxonomy frameworks to support effective content categorization and search optimization.
* Familiarity with advanced AI tools and personalization strategies for content-driven marketing.
* Ability to manage content at scale while ensuring both creativity and efficiency.
