In this position, you will assist geospatial personnel in the execution of various public and private sector survey assignments. You will work with other technicians and assist in directing field crews to complete small and large-scale commercial development and transportation projects.

Responsibilities

    Coordination with field crews and other technicians to monitor project responsibilities
  • Right-of-Way and property records research
  • Perform boundary calculations and analysis
  • Field calculations and coordinate geometry
  • Drafting of maps and legal descriptions
  • Subdivision platting process and drafting


Qualifications

  • Geomatics/Land Surveying AAS or BS degree preferred

  • Minimum of 4 years of in-office surveying experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Experience with TXDOT requirements and procedures a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit for prolonged periods, use hands/fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls reach with hands and arms, speak, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
