VTG is seeking a Quality Manager to work at a Clients Site.


What will you do?

The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with DoD requirements for a flagship integrated combat system for the Navy. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes and procedures to achieve our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in alignment with DoD standards and regulations.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and address quality issues.

  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and DoD representatives.

  • Develop and update testing-related documentation, including test cases, plans, and flaw-reporting procedures.

  • Identify issues with production-related processes and recommend improvements.

  • Analyze product design to identify design flaws and to ensure stability and quality.

  • Document and compile observation data for future analyses.

  • Manage and maintain test case procedures and implement automated testing processes where possible.

  • Review processes and submit lean recommendations.


Do you have what it takes?

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management in the defense sector.

  • Strong knowledge of DoD quality standards and regulations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001, Certified Quality Inspector) is a plus.

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $80,000 - $200,000 which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
