Growing packaging manufacturer is looking for a part-time Office Assistant. This position is responsible for coordinating and performing daily office tasks which may include inventory audits, processing payroll, answering HR related inquiries, ordering material, processing invoices and pulling reports. This position is part-time 20 hours per week(flexible with days/amount as long as it's during day). Temporary, starting in mid-April and anticipated to be thru mid-July. This would be in their office in Gladstone. The position is paying $21/hr.

Responsibilities:



  • Performs administrative accounting responsibilities, including processing billings, payroll, accounts payable, general ledger entry preparation and input, reconciliations, and petty cash duties.
  • Maintain filing and administration records.
  • Performs clerical duties (i.e. answering telephones, filing, faxing, photocopying, etc.)
  • May prepare and distribute routine production, accounting and administrative reports.
  • May code invoices and attach required documents for signature approval and forward to processing center for payment.
  • May interact with customers, salespeople, vendors, etc.
  • May perform monthly inventory, create detailed reports and logs, and update files.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Requirements:



  • 1+ years of office or administrative support experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
