Position Summary:

Provide first-line support on IT hardware, software and systems for on-site and remote employees. Performs a variety of complex tasks and may lead or direct work of others. Superior technical aptitude, strong written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people are key success factors for this position. Proven ability to operate in extreme high-pressure situations, handle multiple priorities and possess a high level of discipline while remaining flexible. Top-quality customer service skills in dealing with all levels in a team environment; display patience. Work under direct supervision

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configure LAN and network devices' software.
  • Install new equipment, cabling and network devices.
  • Optimize performance of LAN and Network Devices.
  • Handle user issues and perform help desk functions.
  • Install and upgrade PC and network device hardware.
  • Develop and document installation and upgrade plan.
  • Prepare the site and develop the work plan for the installation.
  • Remove old equipment and cabling.
  • Troubleshoot problems.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Provide backup support for AS400 operator on basics - printing labels, printing reports and handling user lock-outs.
  • Close out AS400 system. Submit jobs and ensure queues are clear and distribute reports.
  • Initiate purchase request for hardware and software as well coordinate approval thereof.
  • Investigate and recommend hardware/software options.
  • Service calls to provide first-line support for problems on all applications/hardware configurations and resolve faults quickly related but not limited to:
    • Hardware malfunctions
    • Software errors
    • Passwords
    • Printer Configurations, Errors, Jams
    • Software Installations and Configurations
    • VPN/Remote connection
    • Wireless Configuration and Connectivity
    • Burn and deliver CD media
  • Work to develop customer relationships through collaboration, respect, professionalism, trust and integrity.
  • Listen to understand customer requirements and take prompt appropriate action that exceeds expectations.
  • Schedule and implement new user orientation on the operation of PC and navigation to network resources.
  • Train new users.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Minimum 0-2 Years Relevant Experience

Associate Degree in Computer Technology

Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures is required. A+ certification required.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$40,424 - $63,896

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
