Responsibilities

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital, an innovative behavioral health hospital offering a full continuum of outpatient and outpatient services to the people of Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro area. Our 120-bed facility will offer specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co-occurring addictions.

Job Summary:

The Chief Clinical Officer provides the leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services programs offered at the facility, ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility's performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administrative processes and management systems for all clinical services offered at the facility, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of clinical treatment programs. This role is a hands-on, strategic leader who will set the vision for Via Linda's Clinical Services.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field and licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or similar independent AZ Board of Behavioral Health licensure.
  • Minimum ten (10) years' experience in psychiatric/mental health field required.
  • Seven (7) years' experience in advanced clinical/management practice preferred.
  • Experience overseeing complex services lines in conjuction with operating and service agreements.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
