*Job Summary:* As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting multiple facilities' technology needs while specializing in at least one area of expertise. You will travel to various locations, installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting servers, desktops, laptops, printers, routers, and network infrastructure equipment. This role requires some travel within the Chicago area, so candidates must reside in the area to ensure a reasonable commute to practice locations. *Key Responsibilities:* * Technical Support: Troubleshoot all manner of end-user IT problems involving applications and hardware. * Deployment: Deploy computer hardware, including advanced clinical systems and Windows-level applications. * IT Activities: Manage IT activities related to user access, incidents, service interruptions, and planned downtimes. Document and communicate processes to ensure consistent user experience. * Problem Management: Identify trends of recurring issues and work with internal and external resources to achieve permanent solutions. * Notification: Ensure proper notification of ongoing issues and any workaround solutions until a permanent resolution is established. * Professional Relationships: Encourage, maintain, and develop professional business relationships with internal and external customers by providing prompt, efficient, and professional service. * Compliance: Maintain patient confidentiality, comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and secure all operational data. *Qualifications:* * Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, with at least some of it focused on multi-site or healthcare environments. * Experience deploying operating systems and managing Active Directory. * Strong analytical skills to diagnose technical issues and develop effective solutions quickly. * Excellent communication skills across all staff/management levels with a friendly and helpful attitude. * Ability to work in fast-paced environments while providing excellent customer service. * Must be a team player, eager to collaborate, and adaptable. * Ability to provide both remote and on-site technical support, addressing issues in real-time (mileage reimbursements provided). *Preferred Qualifications:* * Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, and network security. * Experience with Microsoft Intune/Autopilot. * Experience working within dental or healthcare environments. * Familiarity with PAN (Panoramic Dental X-Ray) equipment such as Planmeca, Sidexis 2d/3d, or Carestream 2d/3d pans. * Experience with dental office software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Practice Works, or Softdent. * Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data security standards specific to healthcare. *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * This role involves driving and supporting 30 clinics within a one-hour radius. Mileage reimbursement is provided. * We are looking for someone who is very professional, customer service-oriented, and has a good drive and cordial attitude. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
