Job Description The Business Analyst (BA) Sr Consultant II leads the analysis of business requirements and requests from the business, operations, and other users of IT services. Acts as a lead and contact for the business divisions and technology solution providers for all aspects of solution identification. Coaches and leads other Business Analysts. A BA Sr Consultant II supports projects of moderate to high complexity. Key Responsibilities * Consults on the functional test plans and conditions for assigned applications or projects of moderate complexity; ensure that the test plans cover the testing of all defined functional requirements; supports data analysis and validation from functional tests * Assists with project initiation or planning for projects of moderate complexity * Analyzes requirements and create or contribute to functional designs, leveraging more advanced technical skills; Assist with design application prototypes * Uses appropriate tools and techniques to elicit and define requirements that address more complex business processes or projects of moderate to high complexity * Leads information gathering sessions * Executes change control process to manage changes to base lined deliverables and scope for projects of moderate to high complexity * Provides informal training to Band B and Band C1 members on the team * Participates in design reviews, application design impacts between concurrent releases, and technical walk-throughs * Provides business knowledge and support for resolving technology issues across multiple areas of the business * Provides expertise for multiple areas of the business through analysis and understanding of business needs; applies a broad knowledge of programs, policies, and procedures in a business area or technical field Education * 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) Experience * 3 or more years of experience (Preferred) Supervisory Responsibilities * This job does not have supervisory duties. Education & Experience (in lieu) * In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. The ideal candidate for this role will possess Experience in these areas: Experience with payment processing systems and financial operations Comprehensive understanding of EPIC/Siebel platforms, including troubleshooting complex application challenges Strong data analysis capabilities with proven ability to translate insights into strategic decisions Senior Business Analyst experience managing large-scale projects from conception to completion Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new environments and make immediate contributions Proficiency in Agile methodology and project management frameworks #LI-SP1 Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is $69,200-$111,450 [annually] and is based on experience and qualifications. * Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
