  • Hourly Rate: $20.00
  • Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 PM
  • Team Building / Volunteer Event for 3 Tuesday evenings


Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) has an excellent opportunity for a Legal & Contracts Intern - Summer Internship Program (June 16, 2025 - August 8, 2025) at our Lake Forest, CA headquarters. The internship will include a team building/volunteering event for 3 Tuesday evenings within the program.

Summary:

The Legal & Contracts Intern position is a temporary entry level role focused on processes, systems and controls and will learn departmental operations at TABS under close guidance and support. This role will provide a hands-on learning opportunity in Legal & Contracts. Under immediate supervision, the Intern shall complete a variety of routine tasks in support of the goals and needs of the Department.

Responsibilities:



  • Work closely under the guidance of Department Management and staff to provide administrative support including but not limited to entry level departmental tasks as indicated below:

    • Daily departmental and administrative support for Legal
    • Contracts, Bids & Proposal Support
    • Various legal projects
    • Misc. post award contractual activities


  • Learn about departmental processes and procedures along with corresponding controls.
  • Under management guidance, support entry level activities.
  • Work closely with management or more senior staff to learn how to generate and review departmental reporting (scheduled and ad-hoc).
  • Assist with special projects as instructed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Sophomore, junior, or senior level undergraduate student, or graduate student, attending an accredited college in good standing or recent graduate (within six months) of an accredited college.
  • Pursuing a Pre-Law Degree or a closely related major (Business, Political Science, or similar). Must have completed introductory business courses and have a basic understanding of Legal principles.
  • Proficient with computers (including exposure to Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • May have exposure to related software systems
  • Must have effective communication skills with ability to work well in Team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and prioritize assignments.
  • A Team player and motivated to learn with a strong desire to take on new challenges.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated initiative.
