Scope: Monitor and maintain all plant environment, health, and safety activities and programs to ensure compliance to local and corporate policies as well as governmental regulations. Provide leadership to drive improvements in plant safety and environmental culture to ensure that TTM Denver exceeds the minimum requirements for regulatory compliance. Oversee EHS Supervisor and EHS Engineer.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Environmental:

Complete all regulatory reporting in a timely fashion. Maintain facility wastewater discharge and hazardous waste permits. Serve as key contact for regulatory agencies and represents facility as needed (OSHA, EPA, State Dept. of Public Health and Environment, city and local government, Wastewater Pretreatment Program, Fire Department). Oversee operations of waste treatment. Troubleshoot and problem solve issues with waste treatment system. Oversee all environmental projects. Ensure environmental laboratory analysis is completed and accurate. Develop and maintain records necessary to comply with relevant laws and regulations. Report and maintain required hazardous waste documentation. Ensure that all environmental training programs are effective, and delivered to employees in a timely fashion.

Safety:

Maintain and communicate all required OSHA safety programs (LOTO, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Emergency Response, Confined Space Entry, PPE, Medical Monitoring, Laser Safety, etc). Create and maintain MSDS catalogues, labeling standards, etc. Coordinate, prepare and conduct all required safety and emergency response training. Conduct thorough incident investigations and develop corrective action plans. Manage worker's compensation and OSHA 300 log. Serve as facility ergonomics champion. Anticipate, correct, and control safety hazards within the facility. Implement and sustain a Behavioral Based Safety Program.

Health:

Manage radiation, hearing, industrial hygiene monitoring, respiratory protection programs. Manage return to work / light duty / disability management programs.

Other Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing EHS budget. Coordinate and maintain internal Safety Committee Respond outside of normal business hours to all EHS issues. Always available to perform any necessary functions of plant operation above and beyond defined responsibilities.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in dealing with federal, state and local regulations.

  • Working knowledge of ion exchange wastewater treatment systems.

  • Proven ability to manage teams of employees in a technical/environmental field.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport with employees at all levels.

  • Project management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, general computer usage and electronic file management.

Education and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Safety Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or closely related field.

Experience:

  • 10+Years Relevant Experience as EHS Manager in a manufacturing environment.

  • Current certification in Industrial Wastewater Treatment and/or Hazardous Materials Management preferable.

  • Previous experience with PCB or metal finishing manufacturing desired.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
