Accounting Clerk

Pay: $16-$20 per hour

Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

As an Accounting Clerk, you will support the financial operations of the distribution center by ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records and supporting various accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, billing statements, and payment schedules
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, manage customer collections, and follow up on outstanding payments
• Accurately enter and maintain financial data in accounting software
• Organize and manage files for invoices, receipts, and financial documents
• Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulations and accuracy in financial records
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with general accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, or data entry (experience in distribution or logistics preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
