Description

Medica's Financial Analyst will report to the Sr. Director or Markets Finance and provide finance support to Market leaders and Sales to support growth opportunities. The Financial analyst's primary role will be to help support sales by managing sales pipeline activity, analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, developing forecasts and recommending actions to management.

Key Accountabilities:



  • Facilitates the preparation of pipeline management reporting and setting growth targets by market.
  • Provides financial support to track and monitor sales incentives against forecasts and create annual budgets.
  • Provides market leaders with information to make informed decisions by developing and providing ongoing analysis for key accounts, including forecasts, dashboards, identifying and monitoring sales metrics.
  • Assists Market leaders with market, product and industry competitive analysis to ensure appropriate market offerings and price competitiveness.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to drive implementation of existing sales management and pipeline reporting into new CRM reporting suite.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, etc.) or equivalent experience in related field, plus 5 years of work experience beyond degree required.
  • Advanced Excel experience required, Power BI, TM1 experience preferred.
  • Experience with the following strongly preferred, expense management, position management and model building.


Preferred:



  • Knowledge of the health insurance industry, operations, and key expense drivers.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership in a clear and concise.
  • Solution-oriented project management skills.


This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from the designated office - Minnetonka, MN -, on average, 3+ times per week.

The full salary range for this position is $68,800 - $118,000. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
