Job Summary Job Description Responsibilities: The HR Manager will oversee and drive HR processes, policies, and strategic initiatives to support business objectives. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented HR professional who can partner with leaders, drive organizational effectiveness, and ensure HR standardization within the shared service organization. This position reports directly to the Nidec Americas Holding Corporation ("NAHC") shared service organization President. Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary HR partner for the NAHC shared service organization.
- Align HR strategies with business objectives to ensure effective workforce planning, staffing models, and organizational structure optimization.
- Guide leaders on talent management, succession planning, performance management, and pay-for-performance to enhance managerial effectiveness.
- Ensure the Workday HR system accurately reflects organizational structure changes, working closely with business leaders.
- Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality while managing employee records and HR systems.
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution.
- Participate in the company's Compliance Committee as requested.
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
- Assist with performance and salary reviews.
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
- Guide leaders on talent management, succession planning, performance management, and pay-for-performance to enhance managerial effectiveness.
- Participate in and/or lead specific projects as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, labor relations, business, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience in a global organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented and matrixed environment
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft applications and Workday preferred
- Proven track record of leadership and change management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
