Corporate Paralegal

Seeking a motivated,
results-oriented individual to support our Corporate Legal Team. This position will assist the in-house legal department in ensuring compliance with applicable legal and
regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include working with various site leaders to autonomously review
and negotiate customer and vendor-facing agreements and assisting
the legal department with maintaining and organizing legal files and the
department budget.

We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.

Job Summary

  • Review, edit, and negotiate commercial and governmental contracts, including but not limited to Ts&Cs, NDAs, LTAs, SOWs and POs.
  • Organize and maintain an electronic contracts database and other legal documents in compliance with record keeping requirements.
  • Organize and manage governance-related documents, including maintaining books and records, and registrations in appropriate jurisdictions.
  • Assist with various administrative agency filings, including but not limited to export control licenses.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders, business development, program management, and other business partners across the Company.
  • Assess a diverse range of legal and regulatory questions submitted by employees, and communicate efficiently with the Corporate Attorney to escalate and resolve matters as needed.
  • Assist with tracking legal budget and quarterly spend.
  • This position requires a full-time in-office presence
    to collaborate, engage, and interact effectively with the legal team, business
    partners, and leaders. Flexibility to work remote is determined by the Company
    based on business needs.
  • Responsible for storing and handling all Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) appropriately to prevent unauthorized access, dissemination, or use of this information or documentation.
  • Support all visitor and security policies to protect ITAR/EAR/CMMC/CUI information, documents, product, etc. from unauthorized access by informing management immediately of any concerns.
  • Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in employee's work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including outlook,
    PPT, word, and excel. Experience
    with data driven performance metrics preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and project management skills.
  • Must be able to uphold highest ethical standards, discretion
    and confidentiality, and exercise good judgment on day-to-day decisions
  • Able to perform a variety of tasks independently; able
    to work and collaborate in a team environment

Required Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited
    university/college in business or a related area, or equivalent years of
    relative experience required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in-house corporate paralegal
    experience
  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry a
    plus

Licenses, Certifications, etc.

  • Paralegal certificate required

Base Compensation: USD 48.00 - 57.69 Paid
