Service Technician

We are hiring an entry-level Service Technician in the Nashville, TN area to provide on-site support for the installation and servicing of commercial food equipment. Pay: $23.10-$31.30 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift hours, including on-call, after-hours, holidays, and weekends

Responsibilities:

• Install basic mechanical commercial food equipment and assist with more advanced installs as needed
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair basic mechanical food equipment for customers on contract or time and material (T&M) basis
• Complete and document preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment
• Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures in Hobart Service manuals
• Support financial goals by providing exceptional customer service
• Stay up-to-date with company, industry, and equipment knowledge
• Manage company assets, including vehicles, tools, and inventory
• Adhere to company safety, driving, and other policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 0-2 years of electrical/mechanical experience
• Strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, analytical, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• A focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
