Senior Product Manager - Gen AI Assistants, Cisco AI Software and Platforms

You are able to travel to the San Jose, CA office at least once every three months for planning meetings.

The Cisco AI Software & Platform Group incubates and delivers Generative AI based solutions to reinvent Cisco's existing Products and how customers interact with them. Our Group is also introducing new offerings that help customers roll out Generative AI at scale while doing so responsibly. Ultimately we are doing so through internal platforms that unlock the benefits of this technology for Cisco teams and partners across our Security, Enterprise Networking, Collaboration and Splunk portfolios.

Cisco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our strategic AI Software and Platform team that is implementing Generative AI products and experiences across Cisco's broad Product portfolio. In this role you will drive GenAI-based Assistant experiences directly within portfolio of Products spanning Security and Enterprise Networking. This role demands an individual who is adept at productizing machine learning and Generative AI tools, models and agents at an enterprise scale, and who thrives in navigating complex cross-functional and cross-portfolio challenges with a customer-centric approach.

• Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of advanced Generative AI-powered products, particularly Generative AI Assistants.
• Collaborate with product teams across the different Business groups and the broader Cisco ecosystem to integrate Generative AI capabilities.
• Stay ahead of the constantly evolving generative AI space, translating the latest research into strategic opportunities for Cisco.
• Drive products from conception to launch, balancing the needs of internal users and external customers, to deliver solutions that ultimately make Cisco's products more sticky and valuable to customers.

• 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 1-2 years of recent experience with Generative AI and machine learning technologies.
• Proven experience in productizing Generative AI and machine learning technologies at enterprise scale.
• Background in security, enterprise networking, AI, or a related field, with a passion for delivering impactful solutions for customers.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field.

• Strategic mentality with a pulse on Generative AI research and trends, capable of unlocking new capabilities for customers.
• Strong ability to work across functional teams and manage products that cater to diverse customer bases.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with various technical teams.
