Summary:

In this role, you will provide leadership to manage and execute strategies for customized contract and program portfolios for Mayo Clinic, ensuring alignment with the unique needs of each engagement within your scope of responsibility. This includes developing tailored agreement portfolios and leading assigned team members. You will also design and implement business processes, training, and systems to create a consistent and scalable infrastructure for the custom contracting process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of sourcing executives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and goals.

• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team as well as cross functionally.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and client teams to maximize delivered value.

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategic sourcing roadmaps, prioritizing opportunities to deliver value and enhance client satisfaction.

• Develop and implement business processes, training, and systems to provide optimal infrastructure for the custom sourcing process in collaboration with Vizient national contracting teams and Mayo Clinic contracting team members.

• Lead in all aspects of supply chain strategic sourcing processes including opportunity identification, strategy, contract development, negotiations, documentation, and implementation.

• Oversee development and execution of contract strategies to reduce spend, improve operational efficiencies, maximize delivered value and ultimately achieve a higher level of member satisfaction by becoming a trusted advisor.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.

• 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

• Proven expertise in contract negotiations and healthcare supply cost management, including vendor collaboration and strategic sourcing required.

• Contracting experience for medical supplies, devices and services within a healthcare environment preferred.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with legal and business partners to address complex contractual and operational challenges.

• Proven leadership in developing customized, consultative solutions for complex organizations, with a track record of driving results through cross-functional team management, coaching, and supplier collaboration.

• Exceptional strategic and operational capabilities, including project management, change leadership, and strong interpersonal skills to influence senior leadership and key stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel.
