Join our dynamic team as a Security Specialist and play a crucial role in safeguarding our company premises, team members, and valuable assets! Under the guidance of the Director of Diversion Control and Global Security, you will be at the forefront of ensuring a safe and secure environment against both internal and external threats.

In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for:

Proactive Security Management: Implementing strategies to protect our headquarters in Conshohocken, fostering a culture of safety and vigilance.

Emergency Response: Acting swiftly and effectively in emergency situations, ensuring the well-being of all personnel and property.

Collaborative Team Environment: Working closely with a dedicated team to enhance security protocols and promote a safe workplace for everyone.

  • Manage the day-to-day security operations, to include Intrusion, Access Control and Video System at HQ Conshohocken Global Security Operations Center as well as across the Cencora enterprise.
  • Provide access control administration.
  • Monitor alarm activations for enterprise-wide facilities.
  • Utilize video system to monitor HQ and enterprise-wide facilities.
  • Utilize web-bases portals to assess intrusion alerts.
  • Assist with new alarm system installation and upgrade projects.
  • Liaison with Security Systems Providers.
  • Provide metric reporting and analysis.
  • Maintains and develops facility security requirements and implements procedures for safeguarding proprietary data.
  • Assist in managing reports and analysis.
  • Assist event security at the HQ building.
  • Assist in providing security awareness training and education.
  • Supports Diversion Control and Corporate Investigations Program as assigned.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Requires broad training in related field through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of education and experience, BA or BS Degree in related field preferred. Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year directly related and progressively responsible experience, previous work experience in security.

  • Knowledge of Physical Security concepts, design, and application
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Work and Excel
  • Discipline program, project, and time management skills with the proven to work in cross functional, matrixed, and diverse workforce environment.
