At Advantage Technical, we have partnered with a global leader in medical device innovation and are seeking a dedicated Designer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you assist in product development by creating innovative device concepts, fixturing, tooling, and processing equipment, contributing directly to the advancement of medical solutions that improve patient health worldwide.

Pay: Up to $46.50/hr.

Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform static and dynamic design and analysis of systems, equipment, and tooling.
  • Study equipment performance, reliability, and recommend solutions for design errors or omissions.
  • Utilize mathematical formulas and engineering data to develop designs and create detailed drawings.
  • Develop and apply CAD software engineering methods to solve technical problems.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure model accuracy, design consistency, and drafting standards.
  • Modify tool designs based on trial or production data to enhance performance.
  • Prepare and manage technical documents, including DCO releases and electronic file storage.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and concepts with broad application in the field.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions for complex problems requiring data evaluation and analysis.
  • Capable of managing project assignments, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining schedules effectively.
  • Works under general direction, independently determining approaches and solutions while contributing to policy development.
  • Establishes and maintains business relationships, interacts with vendors, and may lead projects within the department.
  • Strong experience in SolidWorks for product modeling, concept generation, and translating user and technical needs into viable solutions.
