Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in one of the related disciplines (civil engineering, environmental engineering, materials engineering, chemical engineering, or chemistry)
• Previous research experience
• Knowledgeable in waste strategies, long-term plans, and the effects on the environment

Environmental Waste Management Researcher Job Duties

• Perform desk research on waste infrastructure from a select list of countries.
• Research trends and signals with a focus on nationwide waste strategies.
• Place an emphasis on organics landfill diversion, existing and planned organics recycling infrastructure (with emphasis on anaerobic digestion), and also incineration as a comparison.
• Summarize information into a report.
• Coordinate with the team to develop recommendations on criteria to prioritize countries for organics recycling of hygiene products.
