TITLE: Mgr Corporate Business Solutions

POSITION CONCEPT
The Mgr Corporate Business Solutions provides overall direction, guidance, and definition of new and existing SAP ERP solutions to effectively support business strategies and objectives. Combine deep understanding and experience of shaping SAP ERP and Non-SAP solutions with associated business process understanding to provide credible recommendations. Provides oversight and strategic direction in the execution and monitoring of operational activities and technology initiatives and programs by leading, tracking the critical milestone through the phases from planning to implementation. Ensure efficient service delivery to business users by managing the Application Managed Service (AMS) providers service offering in the resolution of IT and corporate issues and the delivery of enhancements/upgrades. Provides regular coordination with other IT teams, business leaders, and project managers to ensure appropriate integration of operational activities across the enterprise, including application stability and data integrity. Responsibility for resource management, staff augmentation, vendor relationships, and contract management. Ensures adequate support for SAP ERP and Non-SAP applications for both day-to-day operations and on-call support.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Partner with internal customers to develop strategic roadmaps, oversee projects, and report operational portfolio health and ensure satisfaction in the timely delivery of IT services. Provides management oversight and strategic direction to a team of leads with technical capabilities. 20%
2. Partner with Application Managed Service (AMS) to ensure timely delivery of operational services are met within service level agreements. Partner with AMS to drive innovation within the IT operation. 20%
3. Work with internal customers to plan, manage overall coordination of client projects, from planning through implementation. Responsible for setting project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules. Facilitate discussions and consensus among various project stakeholders such as key business users, project sponsors, and leadership. Facilitate communication and activities between internal IT departments, various levels of the organization and outside vendors and consultants. Builds consensus between multiple parties and educates business and IT staff on recommended solutions for implementation. Oversee projects to ensure appropriate resource utilization and achievement of project objectives for cost, quality, and timeliness. 20%
4. Actively seek opportunities to optimize the use of and to maintain a high level of awareness of current and future information technologies and IT best practices to include: 20%

* Creating and/or maintaining architectural artifacts and documentation for the supported applications.
5. Participate in the preparation and management of department operating and capital budgets. Forecast and manage expenditures within approved budget guidelines and prepare variance reports when needed. 10%
6. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors regarding technology currently in use or of potential value to the organization. 10%
SUPERVISION
Direct: Direct management of SAP ERP COE functional and corporate application support team members to include one or more teams made up of leads and team members.
Indirect: Oversees contractors, and managed services.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Preferred: Advanced degree in Business Administration or related field.
Related Experience
Required: 6 years of recent experience in the configuration, design, development, modification, implementation, or management of SAP Financial, Material Management, Procurement, and/or Human Capital Management.
Preferred: Strong demonstrable SAP Experience including full end to end project lifecycle.
Experience in agile methodologies
Supervisory Experience
Required: 3 years supervisory or leadership experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA)
Required:
* Demonstrated ability to champion a clear vision for SAP ERP systems to be implemented and the manner for which they will support business unit processes.
* Demonstrated knowledge of SAP Finance, Human Resource, Procurement, Supply Chain, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), and H&S (Environment, Health, and Safety).
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with business partners, IT team members and senior management.
* Expert knowledge of SAP ERP and Non-SAP business applications. Stays current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies; leads application of new technologies.
* Time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
* Expert verbal, written, organizational, analytical and presentation skills. Strong leadership and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated ability leading teams in support of business process analysis efforts and educating others in the proper application of tools and techniques.
* Demonstrated ability to independently conduct interviews with management and other department leaders and distinguish between business needs and requests.
* Proficient knowledge of defined business processes. Working knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies.
* Understands project plans and ability to clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines. Understanding of the components of running a fiscally successful project. Demonstrated proficiency at assessing the proposed project plans to ensure all needs are met.
* Proficient knowledge of agile methodology.
* Drives continuous process improvement for SDLC, maintenance, application support, and Information Technology architecture.
Preferred:
* Ability to develop solution architecture documents
* Ability to understand business requirements and manage conversion into designs, configuration & functional specification whilst maintaining integrity of overall application design.
* Knowledge of overall SAP ERP Solution design end to end, e.g., HR/Payroll, FI/CO, and MM modules.
* Ability to assess emerging business & regulatory changes and articulate how these can positively impact the Company.
