BA is seeking to hire an Interior Designer for our Healthcare Architecture practice that is looking to join a creative and collaborative team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have primary responsibility for project planning, development and execution, and management of technical documentation. The candidate will be directly responsible for design and translating client requirements from concept to completion and will lead project teams and mentor junior designers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Experience with healthcare projects from strategic planning and conceptual design through construction drawings and construction administration.
- Thorough knowledge of the Interior Architectural practice with an emphasis on programming, planning, design, codes, building materials, and construction methods of healthcare facilities.
- A working knowledge of structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering systems for proper project coordination.
- Understanding of current code requirements.
- Must possess a strong design portfolio of works depicting healthcare projects developed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Self-motivated in meeting deadlines and improving process and deliverables.
- Must possess the ability to coordinate with architecture project consultants and engineers.
- Must have thorough knowledge of building systems, ADA compliance requirements and Florida Building Codes.
- Strong competency in interior design specifications, calculations and industry standards, and application of building codes and specifications.
- Collaborative and professional work ethic.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design
- Must be a Florida-licensed Interior Designer; LEED-AP certification a plus.
- 10+ years of interior design experience with emphasis on healthcare projects
- Advanced-level competency in Revit, 3DMax, Rhino, Sketch-up, hand sketching, and AutoCAD required.
