Lenovo's Corporate Marketing Organization is looking for a Analyst to join the Marketing Measurement & Analytics Team, reporting to the team's Senior Manager.

This is a multi-dimensional role that requires a strong foundation in data structuring, manipulation, and visualization, with an emphasis on leveraging analytics to drive strategic insights. The successful candidate will play a key role in connecting datasets, applying solution-based technical expertise, and facilitating storytelling through comprehensive reporting and visualization. Experience with AI-driven analytics, automation, or machine learning techniques will be highly valuable as we continue to enhance our marketing measurement capabilities.

Marketing Measurement & Analytics Analyst is responsible for driving overall data excellence across the visualization platform:

  • Design, Build & Manage Complex Datasets
    • Lead data design and architecture efforts by connecting, structuring, and managing complex datasets from a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Configure and manage API connections to streamline data integration.
    • Develop, design, and optimize advanced SQL queries for efficient data processing.
    • Maintain and optimize the Data Warehouse, ensuring efficient data storage, structure, and integration.
    • Explore opportunities to leverage AI-driven data processing, automation, and predictive modelling to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Enable Data-Driven Storytelling & Visualization
    • Partner with Lenovo's Marketing functions, Geos, and cross-functional teams to aggregate large datasets and transform them into actionable insights.
    • Develop a strategic approach to data acquisition, ensuring accessibility and usability.
    • Oversee day-to-day stakeholder use cases, including usage training and data process support for teams such as Brand, PR, and Social.
    • Act as a consultant and mentor, guiding stakeholders on best practices and fostering data self-sufficiency.
    • Enhance data visualization by integrating AI-powered analytics and automation to generate deeper, more predictive insights.
  • Drive Holistic Data-Driven Decision-Making
    • Support a structured, strategic approach to data-driven insights that align with business objectives.
    • Innovate new ways to enhance analytics and visualization, incorporating machine learning techniques and AI-based insights where applicable.
    • Support the development and refinement of methodologies for defining and calculating Marketing ROI.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement & Industry Awareness
    • Continuously refine best practices for both short-term agility and long-term scalability, ensuring flexibility and platform agnosticism.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform launches, and AI-driven advancements, identifying opportunities to enhance Lenovo's analytics capabilities.
    • Develop an effective approach for sharing key industry insights with stakeholders and, when appropriate, across the broader organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data-driven environment supporting business intelligence systems, specifically in a BI, ETL, ELT developer role.
  • Strong foundation in Data Science, Data Modeling, and analytics.
  • Expertise in SQL
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science or related field preferred OR equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in scripting technologies preferred (Java, Python, R).
  • Strong understanding of relational, columnar, and NoSQL database technologies preferred (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL, Presto, MS SQL Server, Vertica, MongoDB)
  • Experience working with large datasets and applying statistical methodologies.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Data visualization experience (e.g., Tableau, Domo).
  • Practical experience in using AI large language models and AI tools in a professional capacity.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple stakeholders, projects, and global teams to meet strategic goals.
  • Strong analytical, planning, project management, and interpersonal skills-able to manage high-volume, high-visibility functions.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and present data-driven solutions to business problems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite inc Excel and Outlook.
  • Strategic thinker focused on how data connects and impacts the broader business.
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work across organizational boundaries, influence others, and create clarity from confusion.
