They are currently looking for individuals who are looking to grow within their company. Previous Helpdesk or Desktop Support or* PC Technician experience is preferred. IT certifications are desirable for this role. This will be a first shift opportunity on a Contract to Hire basis. Job Description: Our Client is looking to bring on a helpdesk technician to their IT team. This person would be supporting hardware and software for internal end-user issues. Typical volume for the IT helpdesk is 300-400 calls / day, they have 7 full time employees and 12 part time employees on this team. This team is the 1st line of defense for all technical issues. They can escalate to different teams as necessary, but expected to handle incoming calls for hardware issues, software issues, connectivity issues and access issues. Customer service experience is very important in their environment. Higher Ed IT / Government IT / Medical IT experience is a plus.
