Overview Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Senior Wireless Network/Communications Engineer to lead the implementation and configuration of advanced wireless networking infrastructure in support of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN-N) Wireless Lifecycle Refresh and Expansion. This role will be integral to delivering end-to-end wireless solutions across six USMC installations as part of a high-impact modernization effort under the PEO Digital ISTC Program Office. The Senior Engineer will serve as a technical leader responsible for site surveys, engineering design, and the EFIST (Engineer, Furnish, Install, Secure, and Test) of wireless access points, wireless controllers, and supporting components. This includes both the replacement of end-of-life hardware and the expansion of WLAN capabilities in accordance with Zero Trust and Comply-to-Connect principles. The candidate will work closely with other technical engineers, Lead Systems Engineers, and government stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with stringent security requirements. Support verification site surveys at government installations on the East coast of the United States in order to identify and document the current network infrastructure installed to ensure the technical solution meets the customer requirement
Qualifications Education and Experience:
Military Installation Access: This position resides on a military installation. Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass. Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including a FBI fingerprint check. Clearance: This position requires an active Secret security clearance.
