Position Summary: Oversee the promotional pricing processes and programs at both banners. Work with Marketing, the CMP organization and external vendors to manage the flyer building process, pricing signage execution and promotional program messaging. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: > Manage and monitor communication across Category teams, Marketing, Retail and vendors to ensure promotional processes are followed appropriately. > Analyze and remediate promotional process issues that impact retail, vendors and the CMP organization. > Coordinate all special promotional plans and programs that require item and price in print media. Advise Marketing and CMP on the pricing system limitations and potential alternatives for delivery of promotional programs. > Authorize the deployment of all complex promotional offers. (Copient - Food Lion only) > Responsibility for training the Merchandising Sales Plan processes across the CMP organization - Pricing Analysts and Category and Pricing Assistants. > Create and update existing Merchandising Sales Plan standard operating procedures and standard practice trainings aids for flyer, sign and promotional price execution. > Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising and Pricing on the creation and validation of the flyer building process. Create the flyer grids based on specifications from Marketing. > Ensure pricing and promotional changes are performed in a timely manner that will allow operations to effectively execute retail price changes at store level. > Assist the manager in prioritizing the work load of sales plan coordinators to ensure accurate flyer, sign and promotional price execution. Participate in special projects as needed.
