Job Summary

The Assistant Property Manager will provide daily support to the Property Management team, assisting with the operations and administration of Cabot's industrial portfolio in the Orlando region. This role requires a highly resourceful team player with strong organizational and communication skills, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility, efficiency, and professionalism. The individual will work closely with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure best-in-class property management services, enhance tenant satisfaction, and support the financial and operational performance of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Tenant & Vendor Relations



  • Serve as a point of contact for tenants and vendors, ensuring high-quality service and responsiveness.
  • Support scheduling, communications, and coordination of services.
  • Assist with tenant move-ins/move-outs and verify insurance requirements.


Operations & Property Oversight



  • Conduct routine property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with property managers and vendors to maintain building systems and contract compliance.


Financial & Administrative Support



  • Assist with the preparation, coding, and processing of invoices.
  • Support preparation of monthly reporting packages and financial reports.
  • Help with the assembly and implementation of annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Track and follow up on rent payments in accordance with established A/R guidelines.


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Partner with Property Management leadership to support accounting, leasing, construction, and investor relations functions.
  • Assist with insurance, utilities procurement, and property tax review processes.
  • Ensure adherence to management agreements and internal policies.


Qualifications & Experience



  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate, property management, or related operations.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with MRI, AvidXchange, SharePoint, and CR Solutions preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to grow a career in property management.


Work Environment & Travel



  • Hybrid work model based primarily in the Orlando office environment.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated at a desk) for extended periods.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and communicate effectively in person and digitally.
  • Occasional local travel required for property visits, inspections, and vendor meetings.
