STS Engineering Solutions is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Information Planner to join our team onsite with a commercial airline in Denver, Colorado. This full-time contract position supports the Aircraft Programs & Technical Operations division and is expected to last 6 to 18 months, with the potential for extension. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States as STS does not sponsor work VISAs. This opportunity includes a full benefits package.

Position Summary

As a Fleet Maintenance Information Planner, you will play a key role in building and implementing a new Maintenance Information System (MIS). You'll work alongside engineering, records, maintenance, and compliance departments to ensure the successful migration and enhancement of technical operations data. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at collaboration, and is ready to take ownership of complex projects. The position is based 100% onsite in Denver.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the data migration and enhancement process for aircraft maintenance and long-term planning systems
  • Support the automation and testing of all planning functions in a new FMIS platform
  • Develop procedures, process documentation, and training materials for multiple planning groups
  • Assist with loading OEM manuals and integrating electronic task card systems
  • Collaborate across departments to streamline system interfaces and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Participate in the creation and rollout of a digital signature system
  • Execute system testing, ensure compliance with project schedules, and contribute to implementation milestones

Required Skills and Experience

  • FAA A&P certification preferred or equivalent technical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in aircraft maintenance planning
  • 5 years of experience working within a maintenance information system (TRAX and AMOS strongly preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning processes and FAA regulatory requirements for Part 121 operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work onsite at a computer for up to 10 hours per day
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and web-based platforms
  • US citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States
  • High performer with a strong focus on quality and timely execution
  • Willingness to comply with all confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements
