Job Summary

Manage the company's inventory control activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw materials and finished products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the company's inventory control activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw materials and finished products.
  • Receive shipments, transfer material into applicable storage locations and update ERP with all required shipment information.
  • Manage the receipt and storage of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and supplies.
  • Monitor inspection of incoming items against orders for accuracy, completeness, and defects.
  • Arrange for the return and replacement of defective items.
  • Manage periodic and special inventories; accounts for inventory variances.
  • Develop and implement improvements in policies and procedures to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
  • Plan and coordinate the transfer of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and/or supplies between/among warehouses.
  • Engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controlling.
  • Assist with incoming inspection.
  • Manage parts kitting of production orders.
  • Responsible delivering materials to designated production workstations in a timely manner.
  • Ensure movement of product from production through packaging to shipping.
  • Maintains inventory traceability.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company.
Job Responsibilities Part II
  • May also have supervisory responsibility involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or 7+ yearsequivalent combination of education and experience
