The candidate for this position will work in collaboration with the Interior Design and Architecture groups to provide services in all Design Studios. Position Summary: This opportunity is for a junior interior designer that is creative, passionate about design, and values a team environment. The ideal candidate will be able to balance their creativity with functionality to ensure our client's vision is understood and translated into beautiful, purposeful spaces. Compensation is $50K-65K, annually, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Collaboration throughout all project phases, including programming client needs, space planning, design development, and construction documentation Selection and specification of furniture, finishes and lighting Managing client expectations and consultant coordination Production of design drawings in AutoCAD and REVIT Nonessential functions and responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT Ability to work well in teams and with multiple disciplines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task between projects Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills Proficiency in Creative Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred Required Experience Minimum 4-year college degree in Interior Design Working towards NCIDQ certification 1-3 years of relevant experience in an Architecture or Interior Design firm is required Working Conditions JMT Architecture offers a hybrid work schedule. Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
