What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

* Maintain primary responsibility for managing the fleet operations of a Sealy plant.

* Areas of responsibility include: inbound and outbound freight costs, asset management, safety compliance, driver dispatch, ensuring compliance with company standards, customer satisfaction, and other transportation-related duties.

* Use logistics software to budget for and reconcile miles, fuel receipts, work orders, etc.

* Measure and report performance indicators to appropriate management as directed.

* Manage driver payroll and ensure consistency with applicable labor agreements.

* Maintain responsibility for fleet safety through inspections, planning and delivering trainings, and adherence to company policies.

* Assist management with auditing the effectiveness of current procedures and policies and implementing corrections when needed.

* Support and work as a liaison between the transportation team and the Sealy assembly plant team.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: 55K-78K

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

* 4 years of experience in supply chain, transportation, or logistics management.

* Experience with and understanding of FMCSA regulations.
