Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer II is the engineering/technical support for a medical instruments manufacturing area. This includes all aspects of the manufacturing of products (equipment, process, documentation of process, etc.).

• Expertise in machining (Swiss lathes & vertical machining centers)
• Use of SolidWorks to craft and build fixturing to aid assembly of devices.
• Automation experience with collaborative robots to aid the manufacturing environment.
• Strong software skills; Minitab, Power BI, etc.
• Technical writing to document work instructions, validations, etc.

What will you be doing?

• Production Support for all production.
• Solving, process improvements, documentation, and training of operators
• Support all quality activities (CAPA & NCR investigations, root cause investigations, etc.)
• Project work to include working with outside vendors on automation, process improvement projects, OPEX related activities, etc.
• Support projects and activities per strategic direction.

What will you need to be successful?

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering and at least 2 years of experience
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, technical writing, solid works, fixturing.
