Description Acara Solutions is looking for a Logistics Technician to work out in Los Angeles for our partner who specializes in transportation Manufacturing Here is what you will get: Pay Rate: $30/hr to $35/hr DOE Duration: Temporary to hire position Here is what you will do: Transports material between various sections, incoming/receiving, and storerooms using various material handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, dollies, etc. Performs basic mathematical functions to conduct cycle counting. Works closely with traffic department for global packaging and shipping. Performs kitting and inventory accurately. Performs all dispatching duties including but not limited to issuing, relieving, adding shortages; closing shop orders; working with Engineering Change Notices to add/remove parts, etc. Receives incoming materials and follows approved receiving process. Prepares packages for shipping with proper labeling included. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or Equivalent Demonstrates advanced computer skills including the ability to use a computer's scroll bars, mouse, and dialog boxes to work within the operating system. Utilizes Microsoft Excel to enter, manipulate and format text and numerical data; insert, delete and manipulate cells, rows and columns; and create and save worksheets. Uses Microsoft Word to type text, format, edit, print, save and retrieve documents. Utilizes various material handling equipment including hand trucks and automated material storage equipment. Ability to obtain a fork-truck driver's license within a reasonable time frame. Ability to obtain hazmat certification within a reasonable time frame.
