is seeking a motivated Research and Development Technician to join our team in Maple Grove, MN. This onsite role will support R&D engineers and scientists in developing and analyzing medical products, materials, processes, and equipment. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CT

Pay: $31.00 per hour

The Research and Development Technician will work under limited supervision to assist R&D engineers and teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, and equipment.

Responsibilities:



  • Design and set up pilot and production equipment for testing and analysis.
  • Develop methods for using the equipment effectively.
  • Measure and monitor process variables to ensure accurate data.
  • Analyze the processing variables to assess performance and quality.
  • Maintain control over processing variables to ensure optimal results.
  • Scale up systems for expected capacities and operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality requirements and build quality into every aspect of your work.



Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent work experience in a related field (e.g., test technician, operator).
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in R&D or similar technical roles.
  • Experience with mechanical testing
  • Hands-on catheter build experience
  • Familiarity with nitinol implants
