Parts Delivery Clerk

Peraton is seeking a Parts Delivery Clerk to join our team of diverse, qualified individuals. The Parts Delivery Clerk works at the United States Postal Service (USPS) Central Repair Facility (CRF) in Topeka, KS. The CRF is a depot repair facility for USPS mail processing, delivery, and bulk mail systems repairable parts. Examples: repairing printed circuit boards, electrical, electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies to component level. The CRF provides depot level maintenance for essential automation, mechanization, retail and bulk mail processing systems used in all mail processing and retail installations.

Our Parts Delivery Clerk performs delivery service of parts and supplies from the stockroom to an individual or department.

Specific tasks include:

Performs all duties required in the delivery of piece parts and supplies to requesters in a timely manner
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• United States Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Ability to read, write and speak in the English language
• Ability to be on feet 8 hours a day walking
• Ability to read a seating chart to find technicians

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with storage and handling of ESD sensitive items

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Physical activity may include reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, and hearing
• Subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, and electrical current
