Assist Sales Managers, customers and potentially Channel Partners, with technical proposals and product issues Provides feedback and coordinates with Product Manager to develop and communicate Product Roadmaps: May support the creation scalable sales tools to gain efficiency supporting/reaching customers in a fragmented market Collect and maintain regional market intelligence gained through customer visits, market research and industry events, to identify and convey potential product improvements to address customer or market needs Provide technical training to customers, Sales Managers, and Channel Partners Participate in development of product marketing plan in support of go to market strategies and product launch logistics Manage and respond to qualified leads and provide product/market insights to partners Evaluate and provide feedback on product market performance and internal company performance Support the documentation of competitor SWOT analysis and participate in competitive market analysis Attend tradeshows, conferences, and seminars; may support global product launches May deliver sales training, support marketing specifications, and join international teams Will travel to provide in-person support for customer visits, internal meetings, trade shows and other related events
What we are looking for...
Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Engineering or extensive Woodward product knowledge and demonstrated ability to interface with customers required 2-5 years technical sales support role required Solid Knowledge of engineering principles Advanced knowledge of power generation and power management control technologies, with additional knowledge of turbine control and engine control preferred Understanding of power generation markets, such data center, microgrids and onsite power Understanding and experience in system level engineering, such as ATS, paralleling switchgear preferred
